ReplyBubble keeps pricing simple: a flat platform fee for the features you need, with AI costs handled separately by your provider. No hidden charges, no surprise bills.

## What All Plans Include

Every ReplyBubble account, including Free, comes with:

## Free Trial

Every new account starts with a **14-day Pro trial**. No credit card required.

During the trial you get full access to every Pro feature: 5,000 conversations/mo, 5 team members, 3 workspaces, custom branding, all integrations, and full analytics.

After 14 days, your account moves to the Free plan automatically. You keep Free plan features (500 conversations per month, 5 KB documents, basic analytics). Nothing is deleted.

Upgrade to Pro anytime to pick up where you left off.

## AI Usage Costs (Separate from ReplyBubble)

ReplyBubble charges a flat platform fee -- the plan price listed above. That covers the dashboard, widget, integrations, analytics, and all platform features.

AI usage costs go directly to your AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) through your own API key. ReplyBubble never marks up or resells AI tokens.

**What does AI actually cost?**

* A typical conversation costs a few cents
* Most small business sites spend less than \$10/month on AI usage
* Sites with heavier traffic may spend more, but costs scale predictably

**ReplyBubble reduces your AI costs automatically** by caching repeated questions, filtering spam before it reaches the AI, and running efficient knowledge base searches so the model processes less text per response.

## Monthly vs Annual Billing

* **Pro monthly:** \$29/month, billed each month
* **Pro annual:** $24/month ($288/year) -- save \$60/year
* **Business monthly:** \$99/month, billed each month
* **Business annual:** $79/month ($948/year) -- save \$240/year

You can switch between monthly and annual billing anytime from **Dashboard > Settings > Billing**. When switching to annual, the remaining balance from your current monthly period is prorated.

## Upgrading

1. Go to **Dashboard > Settings > Billing**
2. Select your plan and billing cycle
3. Complete payment

Changes take effect immediately. You get instant access to all features included in your new plan.

## Downgrading

1. Go to **Dashboard > Settings > Billing**
2. Switch to a lower plan

Here is what happens:

* Features from your current plan remain active until the end of your billing period
* After that, your account moves to the new plan's limits
* Conversation history beyond your plan's retention becomes inaccessible (it is not deleted -- upgrade again to restore access)
* KB documents beyond your plan's limit become read-only (you can view them but not edit until you remove extras or upgrade)
* Team members beyond your plan's limit lose dashboard access (they are not deleted -- upgrade again to restore access)
* Workspaces beyond your plan's limit become read-only

## Cancellation

You can cancel anytime. There are no cancellation fees and no lock-in contracts.

When you cancel, your paid features stay active through the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan. Your data is preserved within Free tier limits -- nothing is deleted.
